Recently, California and other state and local governments have passed laws facilitating the construction and permitting of ADUs in order to increase affordable housing availability for renters. A Garage is often an ideal space to convert to an ADU (called a Garage Conversion). Many times, our client’s monthly payment is more than offset by the income they get from renting their unit. So not only can you have no out-of-pocket expenses, but you may actually have a net cashflow gain for improving your property!
Of course! If you wish to simply pay for the project, we can even often offer you a discounted price. We can also offer you a hybrid option, with some money down, and some financing.
Absolutely. While a good credit score is helpful, we very often can offer our program to clients with fair, and low credit scores. Other factors are much more important to us. Just give us a try!
We are happy to build any type of ADU for you. We have beautiful plans and themes already ready, along with customizable options, which lower costs for you and help you in the decision making process. However, we can help you customize any aspect of the project, and we are also happy to build according to your specifications, and keep the project within the regulation requirements.
We take care of everything! You can choose your plan, theme and custom features from our ready-made packages, and we will take care of everything from design and permitting to materials, final inspections and finish.
From start to finish, projects typically take about 4 months. The construction phase is much faster than that, and this timeframe includes plan customization, design, contracts, and permitting with local authorities. Often, we can finish a project significantly faster.
